Fuel Filler leakage

I have just had the fuel filler and cap replaced under warranty after continuously having diesel running down the side of the wagon every full tank. After 3 attempts and 2 new seals on my cap and a change in CMI Toyota's Servicing department they finally believed me that there was some defects in the metal lip and agreed to replace the whole filler tube and cap.

Sweeet....all fixed..I had a leaking filler pipe for awhile as well but it was the rubber filler neck on the
rear tank that had a small hole in it.....bit of silicone all good

Whilst on the topic is it just mine or the filler cap isnt actually lockable? I lock it then i can still unscrew it?

Not sure with the utes but the 76 flap is lockable

Mines lockable on both main and sub... So I'm guessing that the caps make the tank a full sealed unit? Just for clarification...

My dualcab (single tank) locks up well so far.

mine locks too and I bought a second filler pipe and cap fro my extra tank and that locks too, you cannot remove the key from the cylinder unless it is locked

I cant remove the key from my cap unless its "locked". Once its spun on key out i can just then unspin it
