The mighty 60( Rat and Misses in magazine)

here is an old story from the Toyota magazine(used with permission) about out trip to cape York in 2001 on our way back about 30 ka south of the ferry a bus had blown it's biff locks and was stuck in a 300 mtr long soft sand blow. Unable to move all the oldie were trying to push it when we came along. there was a block with a 100 series and the bus driver had asked him if he would have a go at pulling him through the and and he told him to bugger off. So I said no worries mate back up to the front of the bus hooked up the chain and had a go. the funny part was that most of the people got back on the bus. Any way long story short pulled him through job done;
